So high, I reach the second sky

Hurray! A new Yyktanen character! well technically a Yytan: the ancient ancestor race of the Yyktanen whose last remnants remain on Vita from the Lost Age of Colonies. Am reading up on "Monsters and Other Childish Things" a rpg rule set that has people (usually kids) with monster friends or weird powers.

the reason this Yytan is so high is because the Yytan are usually very diminutive in size (like a few inches big) as a result of tampering with what they call Pulse-9. It allows the user to increase or decrease in size depending on the polarity of the pulse, it also gives a wicked euphoric high during this process because of their physiology which remains longer during the positive polarity.

it's an energy field derived from a mineral that affects spacial dimensions. It's how there original colony (Yytyantis... or to humans, Atlantis) was destroyed, there was a mass eruption of negative Pulse-9 that caused most of the colony and landmass it was situated on to decrease in size, allowing the sea to devour what remained.

The colony survived and endured though now the survivors were super small and they scattered across the world in search of new homes. most found lakes on the other continents and settled there.

That's where this one comes in, still don't have a name but I'm open to suggestions. Her colony has been experimenting with pulse-9 to make it portable for individual use and sent her out into the "human world" to investigate the modern era. She meets a human youth and asks for their assistance as an emissary. she can re-size to her diminutive form to conceal herself as she quickly learns humans are still not quite ready to see a squid-esque icthiopod walk down the street. She depends on her human companion (still not flesh out or even illustrated) to interact with the world and increases her size in "situations". over the few years she's know her emissary, she has come to trust him.

Edit: Her name from now on shall be Krojai.
